Ichigyoichie is an izakaya on Ishigaki Island where you can enjoy a variety of Okinawan dishes. It is conveniently located on a small street in central Ishigaki.
Here, you can try a variety of Okinawan dishes such as Ishigaki beef sushi, red sweet potato tempura, island rakkyo, and sea grapes. Local fish such as gurukun and irabucha are also offered, as well as fresh seafood from the waters around Ishigaki Island, which are rarely found in other places.
What's more, the "Shima Uta" sanshin song is performed twice per day. You can also enjoy performances of the local Yaeyama folk songs, Ryukyu folk songs, and Okinawan pop songs here.
If you are visiting Ishigaki, don't miss the chance to visit Ichigyoichie to enjoy both the Okinawan dishes and Okinawan music! During busy periods such as Golden Week and summer vacation, it is highly recommended that you make a reservation.
