A delicious steak dinner prepared single-handedly by a multi-talented chef.

Restaurant Details

While Ginza’s sushi scene is the most famous gastronomic culture to blossom there, its steakhouses are of no less quality. One of the best of these in the area is Kawamura.

They are famous for their incredibly thick cuts of prime black wagyu, with steaks that measure 8 centimeters in height. These feature on a set-course menu alongside beef consommé, hamburger steak, beef curry rice, steak tartare, and other mouthwatering offerings.

Amazingly, the chef here does absolutely everything himself — from smoking the salmon for his appetizers to making the dressing for his salads. On top of being one of the best beef meals in Tokyo, this is also one of the best one man shows.
