Nishinakasu Shiranita
Take in the gorgeous view of the Naka River in Nishinakasu as you devour authentic traditional Japanese cuisine.
Restaurant Details
Genuine traditional Japanese cuisine is regarded as a luxury and charged at expensive rates — but not at Nishinakasu Shiranita. This Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant offers highly affordable traditional cuisine without compromising on quality or authenticity. Despite its multiple relocations, its customers remained loyal and followed them wherever they went.
Owned by a former chef of Ginza Uchiyama in Fukuoka City, he went on to open his very own restaurant that focuses on the natural flavors of locally-sourced ingredients and seasonality. All of the dishes are made and served Hakata-style, like Oita City’s specialty hamo in shabu shabu during summer. While all the dishes in the course meals are delicious and exquisite, including their taicha-zuke with sea bream, Nishinakasu Shiranita’s specialty dish is the grilled sesame tofu.
Not only will you be able to savor the utmost quality local food at a bargain, but also be able to immerse yourself in the full cultural experience, including the decor of the restaurant. With everything from high-quality cuisine to top service, Nishinakasu Shiranita has it all nailed down.
