Nishinakasu Yakiniku Kiraku
Nishinakasu Yakiniku Kiraku
The Fukuoka location of beloved yakiniku restaurant Kiraku, where guests are invited to cook top-notch wagyu to their own liking.
Restaurant Details
Initially one of Roppongi's most popular yakiniku restaurants, the famed Tokyo restaurant now has a presence all over Japan, with outlets in Osaka, Aichi and now Fukuoka.
The Fukuoka outlet makes its home in the bustling nightlife district of Nishinakasu, situated across the river from Canal City Hakata. All seats in the restaurant are private room seating, from as few as two people to groups of up to 12.
As with most yakiniku restaurants, guests are encouraged to try their hand at preparing wagyu according to personal preference, but those who would rather focus on the conversation can leave the grilling to the staff, who are only too happy to oblige.
In Roppongi, Kiraku’s claim to fame has always been its beef, and this holds true for the Nishinakasu outlet as well. The restaurant's legendary wagyu beef is served in the form of delicious gyutan (beef tongue) and finely marbled cuts of loin, kalbi (Korean-style beef short ribs), and more.
Here, every day feels a little celebratory thanks to the excellent quality of seafood and meat, but the shiny accents, elaborate plating, and little touches of gold-flake also go a long way in making guests feel special.
