Combine the first part of the chef's name with the word meaning the future, and you have the coinage “Ryoura.” With a deep desire to create intriguing sweets with a personalized character, Chef Ryosuke Sugamata's humble French patisserie is one that shouldn’t be bypassed. Each sweet has an exciting flavor factor: a custard cream pie with a dash of salty aftertaste, a milky chocolate cake which starts off as sweet and ends with the pleasant bitterness of cocoa, not to mention the classic mille-feuille reinvented according to a house recipe. The refreshing blue glimmer of the exterior would catch anyone's eye. Rows of brightly colored sweets line the showcase — including a variety of flavored cakes, baked goods, and the bestselling macarons.
