Sushi Suzuki

Run by a rising star on the Ginza sushi scene, you’d best grab a seat at this small restaurant before its popularity grows too large.
Restaurant Details
The owner of this small shop, just a couple minutes’ walk from Ginza Station, studied at the celebrated Sushi Aoki for 12 years before opening his own establishment in 2015. Its popularity has been on the rise steadily ever since.
The omakase (chef’s choice) set menu features all of the Tokyo sushi classics, atop rice which is seasoned with Akaru red vinegar, which gives it a slight brown tint and a rich flavor. Chief among the chef’s creations are his halfbeak dishes, and sea urchins sourced directly from Hokkaido.
With a stellar reputation and quality which speaks for itself, Sushi Suzuki has swiftly become one of the top contenders in the competitive Ginza omakase sushi arena.
Temporarily closed to relocate to a bigger location in August 2024, they have since reopened at a new location in the Ginza Bijutsukan Building — serving the same quality sushi that they have come to be known for over the past few years. Just two blocks from Ginza Station, its easy accessibility also contributes greatly to its popularity.
