We learned so much, from properly breaking down the chicken, to skewer techniques, to grilling it, and finally eating it ourselves. It’s so delicious when you’re involved in every step of making it! It was a fun and engaging way to immerse ourselves in Japanese food culture. The host and team were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, explained everything in a very easy-to-understand way, and shared such an inspiring story. Highly recommend this experience!

We didn't have a tour with Anne & Lauren. We had our tour with Hannah from the company "arigato TRAVEL." Fortunately, Hannah was an absolute pleasure. Our tour with her amounted to the highlight of my month long trip to Japan. Initially I was a bit disappointed that byFood subcontracted their tours after hearing so many positive things about the company online. But again, Hannah was superb, delivering a tour of the highest standard. Thank you, Hannah! Thank you arigato TRAVEL!

Every trip to Japan, that I've taken, I always look for some form of class. So this is an actual school and Tori san spent the time really breaking down the process of Yakkitori. I learned so much and will return again when I come back to learn even more. The class was entertaining and educational and you really learn to appreciate how something so simple requires so much skill.
