Our tour today with Madori was amazing. It felt like a friend was showing us around Kyoto. As visitors to Kyoto I doubt we would have found the places Madori took us to. The food and drinks at all 3 places were delicious. Madori didn’t want us to miss out on any experiences while we are in Kyoto and gave us so many great recommendations for restaurants, cafés and local parks. Highly recommend doing the coffee&shopping tour.

We're now about two months post-tour and post-trip, and this tour is still something that we talk about. It was one of the best parts of our trip to Tokyo and Simon was a fantastic guide. The sake was great and it was wonderful to have such attention paid to my dietary restrictions. This was our first full day in Japan and we were glad to have spent it on the tour!

Hiro is an exceptional guide with deep knowledge of the Gion district and the neighbouring districts we walked through. We had an in-depth tour with him we thoroughly enjoyed. We alse were able to spend time with him in a lovely fish restaurant he recommended. The food was amazing and we had a wonderful time with him. We certainly would make an effort to walk with him on any future visits to Kyoto. Thank you Hiro. It was amazing.

It was a wonderful experience with our host, Yoshi. The food and drinks were yummy, and Yoshi was very personable and able to explain the areas we toured, as well as the traditions, not to mention the food and drink. I would definitely encourage anyone traveling to Japan to take this tour if they are even a little bit familiar with the Shinjuku area. You might learn something, or even make new friends!

Opt for a genuine Japanese experience, Yucco is kind, informative, speaks great English and we had a great class and meal together. Nothing but A+ on this one. Thank you Yucco!
