Terada-sensei was wonderful and so knowledgeable, so the class was informative and fun! It’s hands on and you get to eat or take with you the finished product. Truly one of the best things I did in Japan and I’m so glad I found the class. And Choko-Chan, her poodle, is a well-behaved delight. Highly recommend!!

It was really fun to immerse and appreciate the art of nerikiri from Sakura-san. Wonderful way to learn about the japanese culture.
It was a fabulous Nerikiri Sweets making class! Sakura-san shared the history of wagashi and mochi in relation to Japanese tradition and culture, and then we made four different wagashi sweets, followed with a cup of matcha. We also met Choko-chan the dog who was so cute! Would definitely recommend this experience and would book again for another! We loved it!
We enjoyed the private class with Sakura sensei at her cosy home! Great as an introduction for beginners with simple to follow instructions as well as a sharing of its cultural context. She also has a nice photo setup corner to record our creations before we enjoy them with some matcha tea. Overall a lovely experience!
Sakura was really knowledgeable and demonstrated the techniques of nerikiri well. She had prepared all of the mochi and fillings beforehand so the class ran smoothly. Thank you for a great time, Sakura!
