Treat yourself to a fun cooking experience and an excellent dining experience with a great view of the Fes Medina

We spent a lovely morning shopping for food and then we went to Dar Settash’s rooftop to enjoy cooking and conversation with Fatima, who speaks perfect English, and her grandmother who is a skilled and patient cook. Afterwards we enjoyed the meal and had wonderful leftovers to take home. We’re planning to return to enjoy a home cooked meal on the rooftop.

An unforgettable culinary and human memory in Fez!

We were looking for a place to do an authentic Moroccan cooking class and we saw right by choosing Fatima and her grandmother! It was an unforgettable experience of our road trip in Morocco. The choice of dishes to prepare is free and we opted for a chicken couscous and a beef tagine pea artichokes. We also prepared bread, learned how to make mint tea, made 2 starters and dessert. Private cooking class on the roof :)

Thank you to Fatima and her grandmother for teaching me how to make rfissa, Moroccan bread and pancake! I had a wonderful afternoon learning how to cook this traditional Moroccan dish :)

Thanks to the two Fatimas!

In a small group of four grandmothers we participated in the cooking school with grandmother Fatima and it was a truly pleasant experience: in two hours we prepared 4 salads and 4 tagines, all of which were excellent. Each of us gave our best by chopping, kneading, mixing, chopping...always coordinated by grandmother Fatima and followed by her granddaughter (Fatima too!) who will soon send us the recipes so we can reproduce them at home. Fun experience shared in a relaxed all-female atmosphere
