A magical and special place, without a doubt. 100% family-owned farm and run by the family. We experienced a traditional day and for the first time we tried 100% natural milk without chemicals. We learned how to make cheese and had a delicious tortilla with fresh cheese right there for breakfast. We learned a lot from the family and it was a pleasure to know that such a paradisiacal place is still in the hands of people so proud of their roots. We will return with friends without a doubt. A fun and interesting tour at a family run diary, that incudes a tour of the farm, cheese and tortilla making, animal feeding and milking a cow. We did it as a small intimate group lead by the son of the family, and met the parents who founded the dairy too.



We had a great time on the Cow to Cheese farm tour. It was very informational and fun and our host, Orlando, was very personable and knowledgeable. I highly recommend to anyone in the Monteverde area.



What an absolute delight this experience was. Orlando and his family are wonderful, and we had such a fun and memorable time milking cows and making cheese together. It was incredibly wholesome and the perfect change of pace from all the hiking we've been doing. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area.
