Discover the ultimate sake haven in Kobe's Nada district, Japan's top sake-producing region. Here, history, quality rice, pristine water, and favorable weather fuse into sake perfection. Characterized by its crisp, dry taste, Nada’s sake is a testament to some of the best brewing imaginable. Roam the three-kilometer Nada stretch with your expert guide, Seigo Nishikawa. A certified sommelier and world traveler, Seigo merged his passion for sake and meeting new people to create this unique adventure. Enjoy over 12 sake varieties in 4 hours, guided by Seigo's expertise, friendly feedback, and insights into sake's history, customs, and brewing techniques. He’ll help streamline your time in Nada by taking you to his favorite breweries and shops so you can try various types of sake. Dive into the sake-making world, sampling diverse brands starting at one of Nada's smallest breweries. Producing only 40,000 bottles annually, this 250-year-old brewery specializes in unpasteurized sake unique to Japan. Next, step into a liquor store founded in 1751 brimming with variety. This is where you can try "Junmai Ginjo," a special sake served at Nobel Prize banquets. Then, visit Japan's largest brewery, where you'll stroll among massive sake tanks and explore the museum. Here, you can try traditional Japanese attire and take memorable photos. Lastly, venture to an innovative brewery crafting brandy, sherry, Chardonnay-infused sake, and citrus fruit sake. Immerse yourself in history, customs, brewing tricks, and snacks on this tour of all things sake, thanks to the expert Seigo by your side. It’s time to embark on a sake escapade!
