For most Japanese people, eating a nabe hot pot is a celebration with family and friends. Winters can be harsh in many parts of Japan and to fight the cold, you can always prepare nabe to warm your soul and fill you up. A mix of different types of soup broth, meat, vegetables, noodles and tofu, a Tokyo nabe hot pot is colorful and nutritious! Served in restaurants and homes, nabe hot pots are versatile and simple, but always delicious. Making a nabe calls for many hands, as it’s a dish where you’ll enjoy putting ingredients and watching them cook away in a pot boiling with savory broth. Make your own Tokyo hot pot in this fun Nabe Cooking Class, where you can put together seafood, meat, and vegetables. The delicious result will be a nabe brimming with delicious goodness from all the ingredients, slowly stewing together.
