The experience takes place in an authentic local restaurant, where you'll change into a chef’s uniform before stepping behind the counter. As you cook, your instructor will share insights into sushi culture, traditional techniques, and the important role rice plays in Japanese cuisine, with a special focus on Niigata’s renowned rice-growing heritage. While the chef teaches in Japanese, an accompanying guide will provide interpretation throughout the experience, ensuring you can follow each step with confidence.
