Experience Details

Experience the rich history and craftsmanship of Parmesan cheese with a guided tour of a traditional, family-run dairy using sustainable, organic methods. Your guide will introduce you to their closed-loop system, starting from organic feed in the fields to the high-quality milk used for authentic Parmesan. You’ll witness the entire cheesemaking process, from curdling and shaping to forming the iconic wheels.

Next, explore the aging warehouse, where over 6,000 cheese wheels are stored for months, developing complex flavors. Learn how aging from 12 to over 36 months enhances texture and taste.

The second part of the tour is a tasting of Parmesan at different ages, from mild to sharp, nutty profiles. This highlights how flavor evolves over time. To complement the cheese, enjoy a pairing with DOC Lambrusco, a sparkling red wine from Emilia-Romagna, with bright, fruity notes and refreshing acidity.
