I am considered by many an expert in wines and atoria and traditions of Salento. My main activity is to sell Salento wines all over the world. Now I am ready to offer you the opportunity to taste the best local wine labels and traditional dishes with me to discover together all the secrets of Salento wine and food.

Lace and Pucce Leccesi

Leccesi laces and pucce are a typical Salento bread prepared with different mixes of olive and vegetable flours and cooked in a wood oven.

Rustic Leccese

Il Rustico Leccese is a savory pie made with puff pastry that contains a filling of mozzarella, tomato and beschamel sauce.

Mozzarella and Burrata Salentine

Mozzarella and burrata are fresh cheeses typical of Salento, produced every day by hand from cow's milk.

pasticciotto Leccese

The Pasticciotto Leccese is a typical Salentino dessert made with shortcrust pastry and with custard inside.

The wine tasting will be done in a beautiful and typical relaxing private garden, where, immersed in tranquility, I will explain the history and winemaking traditions of Salento.

What You’ll Experience

We will meet in the venue that I personally chose for this event. Here will be served 6 glasses of wine, 1 of white, 2 of rosé and 3 of red, produced from typical local grapes such as Negroamaro, Primitivo and Verdeca, accompanied by a selection of typical Salento gastronomic products such as olives, Pizzi, Pucce, Frise, Rustici, Capocollo from Martina Franca and the famous mozzarella and burrata fresh cheese. Obviously for each tasted label I will tell you the history of the wine and of the producing winery by telling you about the production techniques, the vines and the history of the terroirs related to the selected wines.

Perfect wine tasting

Stefano was a charming and knowledgeable host! We sat under a beautiful lemon tree on a quiet patio and tried five different local wines. Very generous pours. Paired with local snacks.
