No visit to Sapporo is complete without trying these specialties.
On this private tour, a skilled guide will lead you through the city’s landmarks while introducing you to its famous flavors. The itinerary is fully customizable to accommodate your dietary needs, allowing vegetarians and halal travelers to enjoy the experience without compromise.
Your day begins with a hotel pick-up, after which you’ll head to Nijo Market. This bustling market is a perfect spot for breakfast, offering a variety of options, including fresh seafood bowls, sushi, creamy ice cream, and fruit crepes. Taste the city’s best early morning offerings while exploring the market’s lively atmosphere.
Next, head to Shiroi Koibito Park, where Hokkaido’s famous cream cookie sandwich is made. Learn its story, watch the cookies being baked, and try making one yourself. The park also has a prayer room for Muslim visitors.
For lunch, enjoy Horyu, a restaurant renowned for its Genghis Khan ramen, a unique combination of miso-based ramen and grilled lamb. The lamb is halal-certified, and Muslim guests can also choose the Kireuma Miso Ramen, which is free of pork and alcohol.
After lunch, take in stunning city views from the Okurayama Observatory, located on a ski jumping field. From here, you can admire Sapporo’s skyline and surrounding landscapes from a unique vantage point.
