Kyoto's historical sites attract millions of visitors, but navigating its crowded streets without speaking the language can be difficult. On this quintessential tour of Kyoto, you'll comfortably stroll along the capital's streets, visit its famous sights, and enjoy a lunch tailored to your preferences with a knowledgeable guide. You'll start at Yasaka-jinja shrine, one of the city's main Shinto sites, bustling with worshippers and visitors from the early morning. Next, you'll explore Gion, a well-preserved geisha district that retains its old allure, while learning local stories from your guide. After seeing the famous Hanamikoji street, you'll relax at Kenninji Temple, believed to be the city's oldest zen temple, and enjoy its pristine gardens, striking architecture, and centuries-old works of art. Lunch will be at Kyoto’s gourmet center, the 400-year Nishiki Market, which has traditional restaurants, food stalls, and shops. When booking, please inform your guide of your dietary restrictions (if any) so they can pick a place suited to your needs. Halal, vegan, and vegetarian options are available. Your last stop will be the iconic Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine, home to hundreds of vermilion torii gates that have become one of Japan's most popular attractions.
