Cook a 3-course Sicilian meal at a Restaurant in central Taormina, and then savor the dishes with samples of local wine! The 4-hour cooking class is led by a professional local chef. Learn about Sicily’s varied, fresh and fragrant cuisine that follows the seasons, and learn about classic Sicilian dishes like ‘Parmigiana di melanzane.’

Meeting at the Porta Messina Restaurant besides the Porta Messina Arch, the activity starts with a briefing over a coffee break with the explanation of the local ingredients. The Chef will illustrate the recipes in program and the preparation and the cooking of the food will then start. The hand-made pasta represents the highlight of the activity. Once the dishes are prepared, everybody is invited to the table for the typical festivity lunch with local wines. At the end of the activity, each participant will receive a certificate and an autographed apron as a souvenir of this special day. Please inform the staff in case of food allergy or intolerance. Children participating in the class must be supervised by their parents at all times.

Maccheroni are freshly hand made by the customers. Sauce is prepared with fresh tomatoes.

Best cooking class!

One of my absolute favorite activities in Taormina! We did this Sicilian cooking class as a family and had the most amazing time from start to finish. We made eggplant parmigiana, salt-encrusted sea bass, swordfish skewers, and homemade pasta — and everything was absolutely delicious! Delicious fun!

Great experience!

Francesca was a fantastic teacher, highly recommend! We made 4 different things, pasta, eggplant parmesan, swordfish rolls and fish in salt. The class is in the middle of a working restaurant so it was noisy but a lot of fun. Taormina is a cute town as well. I would highly recommend this experience!

Fun cooking class

We booked our reservation for the class at 11:00pm the night before not knowing exactly what to expect. Everything about the class was well thought out and organized. Going to the market and grabbing ingredients was a great touch and the walk was easy. We had a group of about 20 people from all over the world, and everyone was pleasant and seemingly very happy to be there.
