Experience Details

Sakura season in Tokyo is both famously beautiful and crowded. Dodge the tourist masses and sightsee at ease, exploring the city from the comfort of a traditional yakatabune boat while enjoying a delicious bento meal. The boat will traverse the Sumida River, passing through 15 historical bridges and cruising through Asakusa's pristine, sakura-lined riverside with guidance in English. Relax and see Tokyo’s famous sights, including Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge — and see Sumida's food stalls, paper lanterns, and cherry blossom trees.

This experience combines sightseeing with gourmet. Indulge in a colorful bento box inspired by the hues of springtime prepared with seasonal vegetables, fish, pickled foods, and rice specialty dishes. After lunch, enjoy delicate Japanese traditional confectioneries (wagashi) with green tea (please note that no alcohol is served during lunchtime).

This boat may look traditional inside and out, but it has modern amenities like Western-style toilets and air conditioning for a comfortable ride. Get aboard, relax in the tatami room, and take your time eating, drinking, and gazing at the mesmerizing, unobstructed views of sakura in Tokyo.
