From drinks and sweets to organic skincare and accessories, the team is dedicated to showcasing the versatility and charm of rice.
Onigiri holds a special place in Japanese cuisine. These handheld rice snacks are shaped into triangles or ovals, filled with a variety of ingredients, and often wrapped in nori seaweed. During this experience, you’ll master the delicate balance of shaping the rice, selecting complementary flavors, adding fillings, and perfecting the art of wrapping with nori. Afterward, savor your handmade onigiri alongside a nourishing bowl of miso soup.
The ingredients used in this cooking session can be easily customized to accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies, so everyone can participate with confidence. But that’s not all, your experience also includes an amazake tasting!
Amazake, or "sweet sake," is a traditional Japanese beverage made from fermented rice. Unlike regular sake, amazake is non-alcoholic and naturally sweet due to the fermentation process, making it a delightful drink even for children. This creamy elixir is packed with nutrients, including vitamin B and enzymes, offering both nourishment and energy.
By immersing yourself in these culinary traditions, you'll gain a deeper appreciation for Japan’s rich food heritage and the cherished role of rice in daily life.
