My son & I had the best time learning how to make sushi & Wagyu beef! Chef & his assistant were professional , sincere, & humorous too! Everything looked so beautiful & tasted delicious! We highly recommend this experience!

This tour was an absolute blast! Amber was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable. We explored parts of Harajuku and Meiji Shrine that we would never have discovered on our own. Amber went above and beyond to learn about our food preferences and led us to some amazing shops along the way. Her generosity was evident when she held our drinks while we explored the shops. We sampled so many exciting foods—I highly recommend this tour!

Great way to start your Japan experience! We were lucky, our group was just 2 persons (just us 😉) so we had the full attention of our guide Masa. He gave a lot of information on the area and its history, on how to order in a restaurant, on the food etc. Gets you started for the rest of your Japan experience. Thanks!

We enjoyed a food tour which started out with 2 Izakayas in/near Omoide Yokocho. At each Izakaya, the tour company has negotiated a pre-set menu of many dishes and drinks. Each customer can then choose up to 3 food items and 3 drinks. The selection was quite good, we had 2 people with seafood allergies and there were still many outstanding things to choose from. The menus also offer a good variety - plenty of things that everyone likes, and a few exotic things for more adventerous travelers! The quality of the dishes were all quite good - we feel we are pretty knowledgeable culinary travelers and we were more than happy with the quality of the food and drink. The evening ended with drinks at one of the small bars in Golden Gai, We got a great tour of the Golden Gai area where we got to see the tiny unique bars and vibrant nightlife. The place we went to had an amazing selection of Japanese Whiskeys and even a few house-made(?) whiskey which was quite good.  The tour company was very easy to deal with - my tour was somewhat customized, and they were kind enough to arrange for our guide to meet us at our hotel, saving us from having to search and locate the designated meeting place.  Our guide, Masa was outstanding and a delightful, fun travel companion. He pointed out other sights all along our walking route, including a Shinto shrine and the Godzilla head. Our group is on the older side, and Masa's enthusiasm gave the whole tour a fun vibe for everyone!!!

Did a Shibuya food tour with Mitsoku on 4/24 and have to say it was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Took us places that was hard to find if you never been here. We'll worth it and thank you Mitsy!

Wow. I cannot give enough superlatives to the wonderful wagyu beef,dining experience. Our guide showed us Kyoto nighttime sites after the dinner. What a plus!!!! You need to book this.

We had a wonderful time during our cooking class. Sho was so patient with our seven year old son. It will definitely be one of the highlights from our trip and he is already talking about cooking for friends once we get home. We highly recommend this experience.

Nice tour through Harajuku and the surroundings. The start at Meji Temple was incredible, and the Yakiniku afterwards made it worth it. Our luck with the weather wasn’t the best, so a bit of the charm of the area was missing. Be prepared to point out at things you want to try along the main road as there are so many, and all delicious. Chisato our guide was knowledgeable and great fun to chat to. We look forward to more tours.

Naoto is such an exceptional host! We covered so much of Asakusa within 4 hours. My son and I were lucky enough to be the only ones in the tour so it felt like it was exclusive without paying more! Naoto is very engaging and knows so much about the history of Japan and Asakusa. We also enjoyed sushi and wagyu beef during the tour. All in all, a very enjoyable experience. We can’t wait to come back again and explore more of what Japan has to offer!

Amber was amazing, she really knows the places around Shibuya. We had a wonderful time, tried several foods and had the opportunity to discuss with her more about food :). She was very open to learn what we loved and made sure we go to the right places. We went for sushi, wagyu beef (the places with the inside grill - tried out several beef cuts - all delicious), octopus spheres (forgot the name of the dish) and some Japanese sweets (several kinds of mochi). We really enjoyed our food, time and Amber's company and had insightful conversations. She also recommended some other places to check out, so definetly will give those a try as well. This was an amazing experience. Hiroshi and I communicated several times via Whatsapp after I booked the experience to confirm various details and plan something special for my husband's birthday. The entire night far exceeded my expectations. The wagyu dinner was fabulous. We were in a private room at a takiniku restaurant near the meeting point. We had a variety of beef cuts, rice, and vegetables, and Hiroshi expertly prepared everything on the grill right in front of us while telling us about the different cuts and how Japanese beef is categorized. As a surprise for my husband, we even bought a beautiful cholocate dessert to bring out at the end of the meal. After dinner, Hiroshi took us on a walking tour of Gion and took dozens of photos of us at the temples and shrines and other photogenic spots around the neighborhood. He also told us about the history of Gion and it's specific customs. The tour went well beyond the brief tour mentioned in the description and was one of the highlights of our visit to Kyoto. Hiroshi is a fantastic tour guide, an engaging host, and did an amazing job of making my husband's birthday extra special.
