Just a short walk from Ogikubo Station, this sushi restaurant sits quietly in a small side street, giving it a slightly hidden and intimate feel. I was thoroughly impressed by the attitude of the staff and chef. Even though one of our friends was stuck in traffic and arrived late, they were incredibly patient and kept smiles on their faces the whole time. As for the food, I really enjoyed the freshness of every piece of sushi—it was a level of quality I haven't experienced anywhere else. This place became one of my favorite spots to enjoy counter sushi! Every piece had its own personality, and the flavors were so well balanced and satisfying! Every single piece was a hit! Talking with the chef and staff was another highlight. Hearing how certain pieces were prepared or why they were served in a particular order helped me enjoy the meal on a deeper level. I’d definitely come back again.
