Le Restaurant Haze is located in an old folk house which was built 120 years ago and was renovated to house the restaurant.
The owner-chef is Atsushi Hirata, who started a macrobiotic diet after working at a French restaurant in Tokyo for 20 years. He combines the Japanese traditional macrobiotic meals with French cooking techniques.
For lunch, there are three kinds of menus available: today’s pasta course (2200 yen), spicy brown rice curry (2,200 yen), and chef’s omakase course (3,500 yen). They will come with more than 8 kinds of dishes throughout the course.
For dinner, they have vegetables and a hakko-shoku (fermented foods) special dinner course (5400 yen). The course will come with 11 kinds of dishes from amuse bouche to coffee/tea after the meal. Making a reservation a day in advance is required for the dinner course.
