Restaurant Details
Despite being listed among the top 50 restaurants in Tokyo, lunch at this sushi restaurant is unbelievably affordable, with the omakase set course starting from only 5,000 yen. Every sushi fan knows that you just can’t find this sort of value in Tokyo — not for sushi of such high quality anyway.
The nigiri served here far exceeds what you could ever expect for the price. Fatty tuna cut to a perfect size delicately hangs over the edges of the ricecake bed. The knife work on the crosshatch-cut horse mackerel is an example of the chef’s steady-handed skills.
If you want to splash out, then go for the dinner service, which is a lot more expensive, but even more extensive in its selection of top-class appetizers and nigiri.
