Restaurant Details
Just 10 minutes from Tokyo Station, Shabu Shabu Onyasai Monzen-nakacho offers a surprisingly affordable yet incredibly delicious dining experience. Operating on a tabehodai (all-you-can-eat) system, guests can select a course that suits their preferences and take full control of their meals.
Guests can choose from courses featuring carefully selected Japanese Black beef, wagyu, chicken, brand pork, and an endless variety of fresh, seasonal vegetables. Each table is equipped with a dual-sided, yun-yang hot pot, allowing diners to enjoy two kinds of broth of their liking, from kelp-based and bonito to the sweeter sukiyaki style. There are no rules here — start with vegetables, cook them alongside your pork, or skip them entirely. It’s all about personal choice.
The shop’s signature vegetable selection includes cabbage, a variety of mushrooms, carrots and seasonal ingredients, which slowly soak into the soup as they cook, creating an even more delicious broth for quickly cooking meat. A wide selection of desserts and noodles or rice bowls are ideal to finish up the meal.
The laid-back environment is friendly for families, children and larger groups. Each guest can choose their favorite ingredients to put into the shared pot, making the restaurant great for forming close bonds with fellow diners.
As a special touch, every two guests dining together receive a complimentary bottle of Dassai sake, one of the finest sakes that hails from Yamaguchi Prefecture.
