Established in 1999, Suraj is an Indian restaurant with a long history in the Tenjin area of Fukuoka. At the restaurant, you can enjoy Indian curries and other authentic Indian dishes prepared by an Indian chef. They also have a great atmosphere with endless videos like Indian movies and music videos playing in the background. In a slightly chaotic space but welcoming space, you can enjoy your meal while being immersed in colorful Indian artwork and decor. Their Itoshima leek & chicken curry is recommended; only 500 yen per dish. It is fantastic on top of rice. The excellent flavor comes not only from the chicken, but also from the scallions produced in Itoshima. If you are chasing spicy curry lately, the classic curry dish would be suitable for you.
