Szechwan Restaurant Chen is one of the most accessible and enjoyable high-class Chinese restaurants in Tokyo.
Restaurant Details
This large restaurant may have a Western layout, but the decor is unmistakably Eastern, with Chinese calligraphic characters adorning one of the walls.
Located in the Cerulean Tower Hotel, this place is the culmination of the efforts and skills of Chef Kenichi Chen. His a la carte and set menus feature spice-infused classics such as roast pork, stir-fried noodles, and dumplings.
Over 90 seats are available, making this one of the more accessible spots to sample high-class Szechuan dining in Tokyo. Although these are some very reasonable prices on the menu, those looking to splash out can upgrade their soup to the shark fin soup — a famous delicacy popularized by the chefs of Shanghai.
