Melt-in-your-mouth beef is overrated — go for the chewy, meaty type for a change.

Restaurant Details

Sourcing the highest grade of beef from all over Japan including Omi, Iwate, and Sendai, Yakiniku Kunimoto Shinkan doesn't promote itself as offering mouth-melting beef. Instead theirs is chewy, and with every bite comes bursts of juicy goodness. A decorated wooden box filled with top-grade beef will be presented to guests, and the variety of the contents depends on which out of the three dinner deals they choose. Regardless of the choice, expect no-frills, orthodox grilled meat — so good that you’ll be dying to order additional portions, such as the framed kiriotoshi platter, which can be ordered by the plate after the course meal ends. The people behind the grills at Yakiniku Kunimoto Shinkan are extremely serious about the art of grilled meat. Expect only the finest when you take a seat at their tables.
