Yakiniku
Whether it’s a grassy terrace, a forest-inspired space, or a cavernous room, dine on supple wagyu beef in a range of exciting glamping settings that whisk guests away from the hustle of Roppongi.
Restaurant Details
Though it offers a front-row view of Roppongi Hills and Tokyo Midtown, Yakiniku Niku no Toriko has a magical way of whisking guests away from the city’s bustle. Spanning three stories, each floor of this conceptual yakiniku destination offers a distinct theme.
On the third floor, a turfed rooftop with tables and umbrella heaters makes yakiniku picnics and barbeques appealing year-round. Diners can also choose to bring nature inside at tables surrounded by decorative features that evoke poles of tall bamboo. Variable floor heights set each table apart visually, creating a private atmosphere even outside of private rooms. On the first floor, diners can savor their meal in a cozy, cave-like setting.
The restaurant’s heightened focus on ambiance doesn’t mean the food is left unnoticed, either. Niku no Toriko’s beef is particularly chosen for its tenderness without sacrificing flavor. The thickly cut gyutan (Japanese beef tongue) is a house favorite, and the premium courses allow guests to taste all three of Japan’s famed wagyu brands — Kobe Beef, Matsusaka Beef, and Omi Beef — in a single meal. Other highlights include Japanese Black beef sirloin paired with Nihon-ichi Kodawaritamago eggs and luxurious stone-grilled bibimbap topped with truffles.
Even those who can only stop in for a quick bite will find lunch satisfyingly filling. At night, diners can enjoy the view of the Roppongi complexes. Guests using the terrace or dining on the first floor are welcome to bring their furry friends. It is always a delicious and good time at Yakiniku Niku no Toriko.
