My ramen-making experience at Ramen Dojo was one of those special experiences that I will remember long after leaving Japan. Sensei Yoku was absolutely wonderful—patient, welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing the art of making ramen. There is something incredibly rewarding about learning the process step by step, working with your own hands, and then sitting down to enjoy a bowl of ramen that you actually created yourself. What made the experience especially memorable was Sensei Yoku. He made the class feel personal rather than simply another tourist activity, and I left with a much greater appreciation for the skill, tradition, and care that goes into something as seemingly simple as a bowl of ramen. I’ve taken several hands-on classes during my travels, and these are often the experiences I treasure the most because they allow you to connect with the people and culture in a completely different way. Ramen Dojo was exactly that kind of experience. Thank you, Sensei Yoku, for sharing your knowledge, your patience, and a little piece of Japanese culture with me. An absolutely fantastic experience and an easy five stars!

社長に一から丁寧に教えていただき、納豆のことを知れば知るほど、その奥深さと面白さを感じました。 実際に作り方を学ぶだけではなく、いろいろな種類の納豆製品を試食させていただいたり、納豆についてのお話を伺ったり、とても楽しく、貴重な時間を過ごすことができました。 そして何より、私のつたない日本語にもかかわらず、最後まで優しく丁寧に教えてくださった社長に心から感謝しています。 日本での旅は、ただ美しい景色を見たり、美味しいものを食べたりするだけではなく、こうして素敵な人に出会い、新しいことを学べることも大きな楽しみのひとつです。 社長、本当にありがとうございました！ これからも納豆について、もっともっと勉強してみたいと思います😊

This experience was worth it, we learned some new things about different kinds of soy sauce, Music products and vinegar. You can bring it into real practise while you make your own dinner with real hands-on tips and tricks from Marie! She is a lovely woman who shows her Passion for the Japanse cuisine with you and helps you out with all your questions, you get invited into her home for a true feast of Japanse food that you will love. I'm definitly going to try out some of the recipes she gave us to try and infuse them in a western-style cooking. Thank you Marie dor the experience it was a lot of Fun!

I had such a wonderful vegan sushi-making experience in Osaka! ☺️ Saeko is a very professional and thoughtful instructor, and I could really tell that she carefully selected high-quality ingredients for the class. I was so happy to see the sushi I made myself at the end of the class. It looked beautiful and tasted delicious too! 😋 I learned not only how to make vegan sushi, but also about the beauty and presentation of Japanese cuisine. It was a very enjoyable and meaningful experience for me. I would definitely love to experience this class again if I have the chance. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in vegan food or Japanese cuisine!

Amo & Yoshi were such amazing hosts and teachers....and most important the Ramen and global were AMAZING!!!!. The class was small (just my wife and i) which made it very personal and allowed us to enjoy our time without a large class distracting them with other students. Book this now! You won't be disappointed! Thank you so much for welcoming us in and teaching us to make the BEST GYOZA and BEST Ramen ive ever tasted!!! YUM!!!!!

AMAZING!!!! Chef is so cute!! Making sushi was fun and we got extra tempura snacks and soup. Even though the chef doesn’t speak very good English he’s trying to explain as good as possible. Highly recommended for a real local experience

The hosts were all so friendly and welcoming!! The class was fun and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the shop. And of course the food was delicious!! Would absolutely recommend for anyone in the area :)

Fun activity and value for money. Host was lovely, guided us how to make and helped us take pictures and videos of us making the Taiyaki. As we only eat halal, we could only make matcha and red bean Taiyaki - which were plant based. Highly recommend this activity for anyone looking for a fun activity to do in Asakusa!

Value for money and lovely experience! We managed to experience making different types of wagashi as well as experience making and drinking matcha while having our Wagashi! This workshop is muslim friendly as they do not contain animal based or alcoholic ingredients. Recommended. Thank you for a lovely experience!
