Good food. A serious approach to Yikatori. Good wine pairing. Good service.

The restaurant is a beautiful home with an incredible garden. Each dish was meticulously prepared and exceptional. Service was great. We highly recommend this restaurant.

If you're a lamb lover, it's beyond belief. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Go there, but make sure you get a reservation, or you will be standing on the street for a long time.

The service was great, and the Agu pork had absolutely no gamey smell. It paired wonderfully with the black pepper dipping sauce. I highly recommend adding zosui (rice porridge) at the end!

This was my first time trying omakase, and Sushi Matsumoto Yokohama made it a memorable experience. The staff did their best to explain each dish in English, and I appreciated the effort. The chef worked calmly and carefully, and it was a pleasure to watch each piece come together. The restaurant was clean, and modern. I wasn't familiar with omakase etiquette going in, so a little guidance up front would have been welcome. Still, I'd recommend it to anyone curious about trying omakase for the first time.

Unforgettable, relly exceptional

A truly memorable dinner! The course is themed around the history of life on Earth, so each dish is named after a different era, like the “birth of the ocean” or “fluorishing of mammals. The theme carries through everything, down to the cutlery and how each plate is served. The food mixes Latin flavors with Japanese ingredients like mochi, which isn’t a combination you come across often in Japan. My favorite part was the textures. Each dish felt different, and I never quite knew what to expect next. It’s dark and cozy inside, but the lighting makes the food stand out even more. The staff explained the idea behind each dish in English, which helped me appreciate what I was eating. One thing to know: portions are on the small side, so if you have a big appetite, you might not leave completely full. A good pick for a birthday, anniversary, or special night out, or if you just want to try something different in Ginza.

"I've been to a lot of restaurants with course menus, but this was unlike anything I've experienced before. It was a true culinary journey as well as a journey through time! Every dish was beautifully presented, incredibly flavorful, and full of interesting combinations of ingredients and textures. You could definitely taste the South American influences, which made the experience even more unique. One of my favorite courses was The Flourishing of Mammals — Primates, which featured mochi and had such a lovely combination of textures and wonderful flavors. I also really enjoyed the main course. Even the cutlery rests were interesting, including one made from bones! The dessert was perfectly balanced and not too sweet, which was a lovely way to finish the meal. Overall, it was a really creative and memorable dining experience, with surprising flavors and thoughtful details throughout."

Food was great! We really enjoyed the seasonal dishes, reasonable pricing, and prompt, friendly service. Would totally go again!
