This tour was absolutely one of the best experiences I did in Japan. I saw this tour through social media which immediately caught my attention since I love tea. Akito is definitely an amazing guide and he is well versed with anything about tea. He taught our group a lot about the history, variations, and so much more. I would recommend this tour everyone especially to those who love tea as well. It was the highlight of my trip to Japan. If ever I’ll be around Shizuoka again, I will do it again. We had such a great time! It was just my husband and myself, but we were kept easily entertained by the guides along the way. We were taught how to drink matcha as part of a tea ceremony and then brought to a miso park and got to take miso home. Tour of the castle grounds was beautiful. All in all a wonderful experience we will recommend to all we know.
