Experience Details
Welcome to this unique “dance for your noodles” online cooking class! Manami-sensei, the friendly host of this noodle-making class, will have you working up a sweat as you make udon noodles from scratch. You’ll work off some calories, kneading the dough with your feet, before putting them back on again with a delicious curry udon meal!
For the noodles, all you need is a few simple ingredients like flour, a sturdy plastic bag, a clean floor, and your most energetic dance moves. Before you know it, you’ll have lovely, thick udon noodles before you!
Traditional udon is usually served with a soy-sauce and bonito-based soup, but this one is a curry version made with lovely warming spices: the perfect comfort food. It’s also made with Manami-sensei’s original curry soup recipe, not the same as Japanese curry that’s usually paired with rice.
This online cooking class is a great venue for connecting with your friends and family over a fun activity in your own homes. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available, so anyone can join in!
