Houtou is Yamanashi prefecture’s famous regional cuisine: a stove-warmed iron pot filled to the brim with delicious seafood, veggies, and noodles that you’ll pull and cut yourself during this experience! You’ll be guided through using traditional tools like menbou and noodle-making bowls by experienced chefs in a stylish cottage setting. This cooking class and meal experience include a chance to learn how to make your own traditional Japanese noodles and then enjoy them in a hot-pot meal with fresh ingredients. Enjoy the beautiful mountain views and charming workspace staffed by friendly professionals. The venue also offers Yamanashi souvenirs, stunning scenery, and a chance to immerse yourself in Japanese cuisine in their cute log-cabin inspired space!
