Experience Details
Discover the best of Osaka on this full-day guided walking tour! As Japan’s third-largest city and a hub for street food, history, and culture, it can be tricky to know where to start, but your guide will take care of that for you.
Start with hotel pick-up and head to Osaka Castle, built in 1583 by the famous feudal lord Hideyoshi Toyotomi. Walk the castle grounds, explore its historical exhibits, and enjoy panoramic city views from the top while taking in the impressive stone walls and moat.
Next, dive into the vibrant Kuromon Market, a century-old hub of fresh produce, seafood, and street food. Taste local specialties and soak up the lively atmosphere before heading to Dotonbori for a commemorative photo and a stroll through its dazzling neon-lit streets. Continue on to Shinsaibashi, Osaka’s bustling shopping district, where you can browse a variety of stores and souvenirs.
Lunch is a highlight of the day, with options to suit your taste. Choose from okonomiyaki, ramen, or kushikatsu, and let your guide pick a restaurant that accommodates dietary preferences, including halal and vegetarian options.
After lunch, head to the Osaka Museum of Housing and Living in Umeda, where interactive exhibits and life-sized dioramas take you back in time. See what Japanese homes and streets looked like in the past, and try on a kimono for a memorable photo.
The day concludes with a comfortable return to your hotel, leaving you with memories of Osaka’s rich history, diverse flavors, and vibrant city life.
