Indulge in some of Japan's most exquisite dishes in this unique culinary experience led by Katsuji, a seasoned gourmet entrepreneur with an impressive 38 years of experience in the local restaurant industry, or his daughter, Chiharu. You'll first enjoy a traditional tea ceremony in a tea room, then move onto the kitchen to learn to make nigiri and sushi rolls and grill selected cuts of melt-in-your-mouth wagyu beef before enjoying your delicious meal together. You'll also receive a unique calligraphy art souvenir by Katsuji as a keepsake. Having managed and operated several dining establishments, from izakaya gastropubs to sushi and ramen restaurants, Katsuji has a unique appreciation for Japanese food and customs that he puts into play in the home cooking classes he hosts in his Osaka home with his daughter Chiharu. First, let your mind be at ease during a relaxing tea ceremony in Katsuji's traditional tea room, where you'll experience the tranquility and mindfulness of Japan's tea culture. You'll then join Katsuji or Chiharu in the kitchen, where you'll learn to make an assortment of sushi with fresh toppings and grill wagyu meat, some of which you'll enjoy with wasabi and others simply with salt. Once all the cooking is finished, sit down to enjoy your delicious meal with Katsuji or Chiharu as you learn their fascinating insights on life in Osaka, hospitality, and good food. You'll receive a unique calligraphy art souvenir crafted by Katsuji to remember the experience.

Depending on availability, the host may use domestic branded beef of comparable quality instead of wagyu.
