This fun cooking class is perfect for travelers that enjoy in-depth, hands-on experiences during their vacation. The lesson is packed with a series of interesting insights into Japanese food culture and useful tips about cooking a Japanese meal. In fact, you won’t focus only on juicy, flavorful, and mouthwatering teriyaki chicken, but you’ll also cook rice, an aperitif, 2-3 side dishes, miso soup, and dessert.


Before you start to dig in, your cooking instructor will provide you with general knowledge about Japanese cuisine and table manners. You’ll also discover how the theory of the Five Elements of Yin-Yang is related to your food and learn about dashi, the Japanese soup-stock that forms the basis of many dishes.


Once you have mastered the secrets of teriyaki sauce and cooking the perfect teriyaki chicken, take a seat and taste your home-made meal. Help your instructor with tidying up before you leave and walk away with new skills to show friends and family how the authentic teriyaki chicken tastes.
