Discover the art of Japanese home cooking in this hands-on Bento Making Class.


You’ll learn step-by-step techniques for creating a traditional Japanese lunch box with seasonal ingredients. Your instructor will guide you through essential skills like marinating, frying, grilling, and simmering in a relaxed and welcoming environment.


During the class, you’ll make a variety of flavorful dishes, including simmered squash, savory-sweet ginger beef, green vegetables with sesame dressing, grilled fish, a dashi-maki rolled omelet, deep-fried shrimp, and two types of onigiri rice balls.


Miso soup and fresh fruit are also served, completing your vibrant, balanced bento.


Once your bento is ready, you’ll enjoy arranging it beautifully and learn tips to make it both delicious and visually appealing.


You can take home all the recipes and recreate this colorful, flavorful, and healthy lunch box for friends and family.

The class was really engaging and fun - we learnt how to make a range of different items to include in our bento box and it was lovely meeting people from around the world. Highly recommend!
