This was the most incredible travel experience I have ever had in my life!!! Koichi-san and Kyoko-san are so incredibly kind, and Koichi-san is the PERFECT guide! He brought us to so many interesting places, and we had so many cups of incredible tea. (We lost count after 15 hahaha). Their home is absolutely gorgeous as a beautiful traditional Japanese home but also with modern amenities like modern bathroom and AC. It was a beautiful, and we were so so comfortable. We loved every part of the experience. The best part was their outstanding homemade cooking. I will be having dreams about how good it was!! So artfully plated - incredible aesthetic but also so delicious and unique. Out of everything we did in our 2 week vacation around Japan, this stood out the most, and we are telling all our friends about this experience. Highly, highly recommend!! It doesn't get better than this!!

Our teacher and translator were fun and encouraging as they taught us how to make gluten free takoyaki and okonomiyaki. They prepped all the ingredients, which were fresh and high quality. All the kitchen equipment were very nice and the facilities were excellent. If you have the chance, do take this class. It’s fun and rewarding to learn how to make these two delicious street food with gluten free ingredients.

Thank you also for your patience in answering all our questions. Many of the foods and their preparation that you showed us were completely new to us- but we found that very interesting. We had a wonderful time and experience at Sakura san’s class. The class was very well organised and structured. Our nine year old is very shy and Sakura san approached her with patience and after a while she felt comfortable. We’re so glad that we did this and recommend the class wholeheartedly. Super Great time with Bruce, he ensured the evening stayed joyful, fun and engaging! It was not awkward and he was insightful, friendly and made us feel so welcomed! His warm and knowledgable approach made the food tour amazing for my family and I. Take note, I had 3 elderly and 5 adults! It was an amazing experience to see all of the little details that are put into making great Ramen. Each detail and step was explained to us and we were able to try each ingredient individually to give us a better idea of how it all comes together. If you are interested in understanding how a great bowl of ramen comes together this is a must do tour!
