Absolutely great experience. Remi was a wonderful guide who explained the history and significance of Sakai before taking us to a small store which sells what is likely to the best mochi I've ever had. The museum was next and gave a great overview of crafts in Sakai but the real highlight of the experience was the visit to the knife factory where we got to see how the knives were initially sharpened and polished and Remi also gave a great lesson on sharpening with a whetstone. Definitely an exceptional experience.

Such a fun night! Taiga our guide was awesome!! Showed us around to local bars, very knowledgable, well organised and such a good vibe! Would definitely recommend this tour :)

Excellent tour, very different to your typical “touristy” route. We were a group of 10 and our guide was very informative and answered any questions we had. The food stops were nice, especially the last one for a sit-down meal! You are taken to a he type of places that would be difficult to find as a non-local! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get off the beaten track and have a unique experience while in Osaka!

Had a fun tour with Naoko! The weather didn't quite cooperate--it rained fairly hard the entire night, but she made the most of itand tried to get us from place to place quickly. It wasn't super clear in the description for me, but bring cash to pay for drinks at each location. We had a nice group, and the alcohol got us grooving enough that most of us ended up at a karaoke bar after!
