Hidden away in a crowded maze of streets and alleys behind the busy Roppongi, this restaurant is named after a small town in the north-west corner of Italy, Tornavento, and it brings the local cuisine of this beautiful corner of Italia to Tokyo. Japan is full of Italian cuisine but Tornavento is among the few that serve the most delicious and outstanding northern Italian food in the whole country.
Choose between a few courses that include all sorts of meat for their main dishes, from sauteed pigs trotters and beef cheeks to charcoal-grilled fish. Not to forget the pasta dishes that are abundant with summer truffle tarajin, as well as dishes like the gorgonzola gnocchi and organic vegetable crudites with Bagna Cauda.
Each dish is prepared with the utmost delicacy and pride, paying attention to the details. Tornavento does not hold back when replicating the cuisine of this small northern Italian town for each and every one of their guests.
