Restaurant Details
Just around the corner of Uguisudani Station is the yakiniku restaurant, Uguisudanien. While the cost-effectiveness might be what reels in the customers, the umami element is what seals the deal and converts them into regulars.
Even with reservations some guests have to wait their turn — mostly because the guests before them can’t bring themselves to stop eating, even after their two-hour booking period. You can't blame any of them, the high-quality beef at Uguisudanien rarely comes at such a reasonable price.
Being long-established and loved by locals for over 50 years now, Uguisudanien has time and time again been considered the best yakiniku restaurant in Tokyo for sheer value. The wagyu beef grilled on the brazier is always tender and fresh. Some signature dishes include the special rump, rib sirloin, and the egg gukbap (which is a bowl of hot soup with rice).
For those who have a huge appetite and want to feast on a hefty amount of wagyu beef without breaking the bank, Uguisudanien is perfect.
