When you enter the doors of Zaichi, you’ll be hit by the sounds and smells of smoky grilling, setting the tone for a delicious beef dinner.
The centerpiece of any meal at this yakiniku restaurant is the two big juicy cuts of A5 wagyu sirloin steak. Theirs is even better than most, because they use premium Hida beef from Gifu Prefecture.
If you’re feeling a little experimental, they also specialize in offal cuts, like tongue and tripe. These feature on the set menu alongside lean cuts, because they’re traditionally believed to give stamina and vitality.
You’ll also be treated to raw beef, possible on account of the freshness of their meat, and spicy simmering kimchi hot pots which are perfect winter warmers.
