Experience Details
Imagine a culinary tale that mixes art, innovation, and deliciousness; that's the history of Japanese ramen! Originating in China, this noodle sensation went to Japan and underwent a flavorful transformation, adapting to local tastes and preferences. From humble street food to a global obsession, ramen's journey keeps evolving. Join Shu, a pro ramen chef and restaurant owner, for a ramen-making masterclass in his ramen kitchen in Osaka! From boiling the ramen and preparing the soup to assembling and adding the toppings, you’ll cover it all.
Shu has his own ramen shop, and will help make anybody an up-and-coming ramen chef by teaching his ways. Friendly and welcoming, his great personality makes this experience extra special. Shu's ramen is a multi-day masterpiece, but he's got it all prepped, so you can dive in immediately.
He’ll begin by explaining the utensils and ingredients used to make a perfect bowl of steaming ramen. You’ll choose from what ramen to make and eat: seafood chicken white soup ramen, chicken white soup ramen, fish broth salt ramen, or your standard soy sauce ramen. You’ll learn how to boil the noodles, prepare the soup, and craft the presentation before eating it, using professional tools! And at the end, Shu will make sure you have a recipe to take home so you can recreate these flavors again and again.
