With the help of an experienced Surinamese cook, who has shared this experience for years, you learn to make bami with tender stewed chicken and and crisp yardlong beans (kouseband) as a fresh side.

What You’ll Experience
During this Javanese cooking workshop, you will boil the bami (noodles) and rinse them thoroughly. You will wash and cut the vegetables, clean the chicken, and then prepare the chicken, followed by the bami, and finally the yardlong beans. You will also make fresh pickles to complete the dish.
