Sips and Smiles is exactly what you will experience. Join us in strolling the streets of La Crucecita visiting local favorites and new finds. We are experts in discovering the signature cocktails at each establishment we will visit. Your mouthwatering beverages will be waiting for you upon arrival. There will be familiar refreshments and some classics you may not be familiar with, but are vintage Mexican staple libations. We will visit five restaurants, bars and a mezcal tasting room. There will be one or two botanas (bites to eat) along the way. By the end of the evening you will want to keep Sipping and Smiling.

The kindness of strangers turned into a lovely memory.

We met the owner of Next Stop Huatulco when we were lost and she came to our rescue. After speaking about tourist ideas she told us about her company. No hard sell. Once back at the hotel, we looked at TripAdvisor and were impressed with her selection of tours and her excellent reviews. We decided on the Sips and Smiles tour. We love cocktails! Eight collage buddies and I decided we were long overdue for a getaway. We decided on Mexico and an up and coming beach destination in Oaxaca called Huatulco. Great way to experience La Crucecita with a wonderful host

A fantastic way to tour the town of La Crucecita and some of their best restaurants with a wonderful host. Maryrose, host and proprietor of Sips & Smiles, is genuinely interested in providing you with a unique and enjoyable experience. You will enjoy amazing cocktails, local dishes you might never order on your own, and leave feeling a wonderful sense of connection to the area. Highly recommend.

Unique Experience

My family of 5 really enjoyed the tour. We went to restaurants we likely would not have found on our own, and have even returned to a couple as we thought they were so good. Maryrose has done an excellent job of seeking out unique spots and choosing great drinks and appies that we probably wouldn’t have tried if it wasn’t for her.

Fun with Food and Drinks!

A great way to see the seaside town of Crucecita! Our tour guide Mary Rose took us to some amazing resto/bars with unique food and drink offerings. Tried some things we never would’ve thought to order on the menus. Had a chance to stop and shop at authentic shops with hand made textiles and jewelry.
