We offer pickup from the hotel. After that, we will have a welcome drink of tea or coffee. We will explain about the spices and vegetables. You can choose what to make as a curry and you can cut and chop the vegetables. We will teach you how to cook it. Finally, you can eat the meal.
Dishes will be customizable based on daily market offerings, preferences and dietary restrictions. Choose from a variety of fresh, local vegetables and ingredients. Every gathering is different!

A wonderful wholesome and delicious experience - Cooking with Granny
The most wholesome and enjoyable evening! I went with my partner and was picked up from our hotel around 4pm. On the way, our driver stopped at a local market and got us a local snack — pineapple with black pepper! We tried it along the way, and it was such a lovely little touch. We arrived at the most beautiful setting — a kitchen tucked away in the jungle, with clay pots, a wood fire and fresh produce straight from the local market. We had a cup of tea and then got to work. Great experience all round
Wonderful host and interesting class in beautiful surroundings. We also went round the market with the guides for an additional $5 which was absolutely worth it

Granny, the real boss
A highly recommended experience, they are great, very friendly and polite. You cook several typical dishes from the country and they involve you in the process, they explain everything to you, but first they take you to the market and accompany you to choose the products and ingredients. Grandma is the best. Don't hesitate, do it and book to have the best experience in Sri Lanka.

A must do experience
Best cooking class we have ever done. Such a variety of dishes and granny was so patient. What a delightful experience. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. Beautiful village atmosphere too.
