Experience Details
Join Chef Saisho–the owner of Sushi Saisho (now Ginza Saisho)–for an unforgettable tour and dining experience in the heart of Tokyo! More than just a cooking class, this tour combines an intimate look at Tsukiji Market with an unforgettable dining experience at a celebrated restaurant.
The chef will take you to his favorite shops in Tsukiji Market and teach you about the variety of seafood available. If you're lucky, you'll be able to meet some of the vendors and watch large slabs of fresh tuna being sliced and diced.
After procuring your ingredients, you'll walk from the market to Ginza Saisho, where sushi-making and an elegant lunch will take place. Chef Saisho will demonstrate how to make sushi before you'll have the opportunity to try it for yourself. Finally, enjoy the fruits of your labor alongside freshly grated wasabi and memorable omakase lunch.
No trip to Ginza Saisho is complete without Chef Saisho's signature patented dish, 'uniku'. Combining the words 'uni' (sea urchin) and 'niku' (meat), this mouthwatering bite features thin cuts of premium wagyu wrapped around rice, topped with a generous portion of raw uni. This dish is filled with complex flavors and bursting with umami! One bite, and you’ll be hooked.
