We were seated right at the teppanyaki counter, directly in front of the grill. The room holds only a handful of seats, which makes the whole evening feel private and unhurried. The chef is warm and easy to talk to, the ingredients are clearly high quality, and every dish was delicious. A memorable evening from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Chef Makoto gave us a truly memorable evening at Teppanyaki Mitaki Akasaka. We came through a byFood reservation, and from the first course to the last, the quality of his ingredients and the skill in how he handled them made for a meal that was both delicious and remarkably well balanced. Our heartfelt thanks to Chef Makoto and the team. We recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

We had a great time and enjoyed the food . The ingredients were top quality and they were combined together to create great tasting sushi . The chef was very nice and fun to speak with and even gave us recommendations on where to get kitchen supplies. Overall a great experience.

An unassuming entrance that is genuinely hard to find, but a warm welcome the moment you step inside. Chef Makoto's technique and timing were remarkable throughout. The sesame tofu converted me on a dish I usually skip, and the Daisen chicken soup was outstanding, with real depth and a lovely thyme aroma. The tasting menu flowed beautifully from course to course, and the chef walked us through each local ingredient before it hit the plate. Good soft drink options too. Delicious vegetarian fare! We enjoyed our meal and the peaceful ambiance. Staff were kind and very polite.

We had the best tempura meal we’ve ever had. Everything was prepared and seasoned perfectly. The batter was not what we would have expected and was light and complimented each course well. The fruit drinks were delicious. We enjoyed our conversation with the chef as well. As soon as we were done I told my friend who would be visiting Tokyo soon this was a must try meal. Would highly recommend for anyone.

I reserve lunchbox set meal The waitress is kind & friendly The meal is perfect There are lobster and various texture appetizer And the traditional Japanese dessert is gorgeous( but still sugary) It was a very fantastic and fine experience👍

Great experience. The staff was super pleasant and all the courses were delicious. Every course was well paced. I never felt rushed nor like I was waiting for the next course. I left very full and very happy. Recommend to anyone that’s going to be in the area.

This view was absolutely stunning. The food was not the best, but that view made up for it. Just do not go hungry!
